Cubs: Naanda, Sarabi, Diku, Dwala
Personality: Shaka is a serious, brave lion. He isn't afraid of danger and death and gives all the attention to the third born of his cubs, Sarabi.
Story: Shaka was born and raised in a large Pride in the Pridelands. When he is fully grown, he and his mate leave their Pride to start a new one. But they weren't very lucky. Shaka's mate was heavily pregnant and she couldn't walk too much anymore. Shaka goes to find help and finds Ahadi, wich offers them shelter. Not much longer after that, Shaka's mate gives birth to 4 cubs, all females. Ahadi then bethroths the second born, Sarabi, to his son, Mufasa. Shaka agrees and, as his daughters grow up, he gives all the attention to Sarabi.
One day, hyenas were in the Pridelands, killing many animals for fun. Shaka stops them, but keeps scars. After that, Ahadi names him his guard.

You know, we never see enough versions of Sarabi's side of the family.
We know Mufasa's, and we see lots of fan versions of Ahadi/Uru/Mohatu,
but we never get to see anything on Sarabi's heritage. So I applaud
you, Pride, for making such an excellent character! ^^ So does this
mean we'll also see your versions of her sisters? |
