Personality: As a young cub was sweet and cheerful, always being bubbly. But once her mother died of a broken heart, Shani became anti-social and snappy. Shani turned into a rude, grumpy cub who was rarely happy. She rebelled agaisnt her family, hating and badmouthing her stepmother , Shani blames her mothers death on her. She hardly ever does what her father asks her to any more.

History: Shani was born a few minutes after her brother, Taka Jr. She openly showed affection for her brother and parents, always rubbing her head agaisnt their fur. Shani never thought anything could go wrong, not ever.

 Although her brothers strange gift to speak to their ancestors was strange to her, she never faved caring for him because of it. Life was perfect for her.

That was, untill the worst thing happend.

Kovu had been cheating on Kiara with his ex-betrothed, Princess Leena. Utterly shocked by her fathers betrayal to her mother, Shani soon began to stay with her mother, who gradually grew sicker and sicker. WHen she died of a broken heart, Shani was left in turmoil, thats when her hatred of Leena formed.

Shani soon became the rebel of the family, always disobeying and bad-mother Leena, who was now Kovus new queen. Once her half siblings, Siri and Haruma were born, she was now far away from her family emotionally, (Except at night whens eh curled up with Taka Jr) But even that stopped once he began sleeping curled up with Leena, Kovu and thir new brother and sister. Shani stayed on her own in the back of the cave, at ngit curled up alone, at day out in the savanah or hiding out by the waterhole.

Her only saviour was her bet friend, Chike. He was always there for her and around him, she acted like her old self more than usual. She nearly ended their friendship, bu Chike refused to ditch her, he stayed by her side, always, helping her out and cheering her up. Shani knew, she knew she needed him. Although she is to embarrassed to admit it, Shani has a huge crush on him! But she's not willing to reveal her feelings just yet.
