History: Shani was born under the rule of her grandparents, king Kovu and queen Kiara. Shani is a very playful lion, often playing with her father Koko's tail, or jumping at his legs and paws. She loves playing with and talking to everyone, her mother most. Shani thought it was a bit strange her mother eats bugs, but Rabi is her mother and shani loves her no matter what she eats.

As a teenager, she understood Rabi a little bit more and why she chose to eat bugs. She didn't want to eat her friends or their families. Shani still ate meat but was open to the idea of bugs. She was good friends with almost every type of animal in the pridelands. This made her happy because she could play lots of games.
