Personality: Shanira is quite a temperamental lioness, she is quick to use her claws if she loses her temper and hardly ever feels sorry for it. Once you get to know her though, she is a good and loyal friend and very affectionate. She can be quite intimidating towards strangers. She acknowledges her beauty but does not take advantage of it and use it to gain anything. If she dislikes you then you'll be the first to know, and its bad if she dislikes you because your more than often on the end of her claws. Shanira is VERY stubborn, and will keep arguing with you till you give up.

History: Shanira grew up in the Pridelands, but because of her temperament she was not allowed to be left on her own. She constantly had the lionesses watching her in-case she made trouble amongst the cubs. The treatment annoyed her, which was why she constantly argued with the cubs, she liked causing the adults trouble. She was soon labelled as a bad influence on others and not allowed near the Prince. Shanira hardly seemed to care, she just kept up her antics with the others.
But soon she grew bored of Pride Rock and still a cub decided to leave with a bunch of rogues inside the Pridelands. Though it was better than the home she had in Pride Rock, Shanira soon wanted to leave the rogues and move elsewhere.

Eventually she grew into a young lioness, and her beauty flourished. The rogues begged her to stay but she refused and sauntered off into the night. Finally free and able to find a proper home. Shanira had no idea where she was going, but she went with it, now able to hunt and look after herself on her own just fine.
She stumbled upon many small groups of lions, but they weren't really prides. Just banding together. Most of them were males who liked her for her looks. Shanira wanted a home where there was lions, lionesses and perhaps cubs. So the pride would feel like a true family. She continued her search.

After weeks of searching, Shanira found it at last. She met two lions, Shinzo and his mate Chiri who were forming a pride. Shanira saw this as the perfect opportunity and they seemed nice enough. She joined them, confident their pride would grow.

Relation to TLK: Lived in Priderock/Pridelands , spent cubhood with pridelander cubs(i.e nala, tojo, kula, rarely Simba)
