Personality: Tadi is self centered, and thinks very highly of himself, and enjoys the company of other lions and lionesses. He can get extremely flirty around the females (especially Zuri and Kiara), and when he hears of Kion picking the lion guard, he wishes for the 'bravest' to be him- considering his high self esteem. When Kion doesn't pick him, he becomes jealous of Bunga and grows a dislike toward the guard.

Short Story: He is the youngest and born after the twins Tiifu and Tau. He was a 'mistake' that happened after Malka came to visit the Pride Lands, and he fell for Tama- resulting in a cub which Tama named Tadala.

As Tadala grew older, he gained the nickname from his siblings "Tadi", and befriended the King of the Pride Lands son, Kion. As younger cubs, they were best friends and hung out together with three other male cubs named Kato, Otieno and Desta. Tadi enjoyed the young Prince's company. They always stuck together. Sooner or later, Kion introduced Tadi to his new friend named Bunga, whom was adopted by friends of the Royal family- Timon and Pumbaa. At first, Tadi disliked the honey badger because of his stink; but grew used to it because of Kion.

When Tadi grew older, he and Kion grew a little distant, because of Kion hanging around his friend Bunga more often. One day, Tadi over heard the King's daughter, and future Queen, Kiara talking about Kion forming the new 'lion guard'. Tadi was overwhelmed, because he had heard of the lion guard from his mother, he was hoping Kion would pick him to be the bravest in the lion guard. But, unfortunately Kion picked Bunga over Tadi, causing the young cub to become angry with his friend.

As Tadi was nearing his teen years, he always teased, and picked at the lion guard, especially Kion and Bunga. He didn't like them, and wanted that Kion was to change his mind. He became very jealous of Bunga. One day Tadi was taking a stroll through the Pride Lands, when he was attacked by a group of hyenas, Tadi knew who they were. It was Janja and his pack. Tadi was in trouble, and ran for a long time. Janja and the other hyenas cornered him near a cliff edge. Suddenly, Tadi slipped as he neared the edge. He screamed for help. He thought he was done for, then suddenly he could hear "Janja!! What are you doing in the Pride Lands?!" He was suprised of the voice, it sounded like Kion. He was sure it was, but why would Kion save him? When he looked up, he saw the face of Kion and the other members of the guard. He called for them to help, and after the guard helped him up he apologised for picking on them.
