Personailty: Taniba has a fun loving nature and is easy to be around, he is rather curious and asks the Pride loads of questions. He is much like his father as he got into trouble alot but is also like Nala, for his stubborn side.

Dislikes: Being told off, when Kiara and Fluffy were born, When Asante is in trouble or hurt.

History: After Simba became king he chose Nala as his Queen and they had a son. Taniba was that son, he was the future King and the sole heir to the Pridelands. His father Simba taught him everyday, from pouncing lessons to king lessons. Taniba always asked questions, sometimes he was too curious for his own good.

One day he decided to sneak into the Elephant Graveyard, his fathr had told him he was forbidden to go there but Taniba ignored Simbas warning. When he got there he saw a Hyena pup being attacked by a snake, half of the pups body was trapped underground. He saved her and they became friends, her name was Asante. Taniba didnt care that their species were lifelong enimes, he just wanted to play wiht his friend. They were inseperable.

When Asante asked him to go to her homeland, Taniba was reluctent but Asante persuaded him and they set off. Once there a storm occured and the river flooded, Taniba got dragged into it. He noticed Asante run off into the rain. Suddenly a giant Crocodile appeared and dragged him ashore. He passed out.

When he woke up Asante was there, she told him she had ran to get help. Taniba thanked her and they set off for the Pridelands. Near Priderock, Asante told Tanibathat they couldnt be friends anymore, and now they were even. She left and Kopa was sad, he really had liked her. But then Asante ran after him, she had changed her mind! Kopa introduced Asante to his parents and evreything was fine.

They still played everyday, but then Asante stopped coming.Taniba thought his friend had forgotten about him , he didnt know that his best friend was being locked in her own cave,because of their friendship.

It wasnt untill his teens , when his brother Fluffy and sister Kiara were born that he saw Asante again. The now teen Hyena had come running in calling his name, the pride thought she was after the cubs and tride to chase her away. Luckily Nala recognised her and told Taniba who the hyena was. After talking things through Kopa found out that Asantes parents had cave arrested her, because they found out about Kopa.

Taniba began to notice that Asante was very pretty know, he was really confused, she was a Hyena and he a lion. It couldnt work.

Taniba's king training was getting harder and harder each day, he had finally had enough. He knew that Kiara would be made the next ruler in his place, Fluffy didnt care for the throne. So Taniba ran away.

Asante followed him trying to make him go home. But then she realized nothing would sway him. So she went with him, Taniba was glad for her company. But then Asantes Clan caught up with them, they started attacking Asante, Taniba fought them off his best friend. But They were still captured and taken to Asante's clan. Her parents spoke with them, and after an argument Asante stated she would only stay if Taniba could rule by her side. They agreed. Taniba and Asante talked things through, Kopa thought she ment as a friend partnership. But she ment as mates. Even though he was shocked, he confessed to her how he had begun to feel about her.

The two wait till their time to rule Asantes clan, they will even try to have heirs, but it will be difficult.

Relation to TLK: Son of Simba and Nala, brother to Kiara and Fluffy. Grandson of Mufasa and Sarabi. Mates with Shenzi and Banzais daughter.
