Ashray (Wajanja's father) had a mate. her name was sparkle. He loved her, and vowed he always would.

One day, another lioness caught his eye. This was no ordinary lioness. she was far more beautiful than any other he had ever seen. He chatted and flirted with her, and it seemed her name was neema. He loved sparkle, AND neema, but he couldn't decide who was he loved more.

Eventually, neema and ashray had 2 cubs, they named the oldest Rayneem and the youngest Wajanja. "They are the cutest cubs i have ever seen!" Remarked neema. "Yes..." said ashray, close to tears as he looked at his young cubs "Beautiful..."

from a distance, sparkles was watching all of this happen, growing more infuriated by the second. Se finally became to angered and disgusted that she let out a magnificent roar and came bounding towards the cubs. she was going to attack them.

Ashray knew what he had to do. To protect his cubs, he hit his own mate, which made sparkles stop in her tracks. Her eyes filled with tears, and she ran off.

The 2 young cubs grew up and Wajanja became interested in the nature that surrounded him. However, Rayneem spent less time learning and more time playing. He always begged his brother to come on adventures with him, but he refused. Rayneem never went alone, he was to scared deep down, but he didn't want anyone to know this.

All the other cubs always got Rayneem into trouble, and when he left after getting into such deep trouble, Wajanja became depressed and missed his brother alot. Everyday he would wish as hard as he could for Uongo to come back.

Both the cubs grew up into strong lions with magestic manes, however Rayneem grew up as a rouge. One day, as Wajanja was strolling the pridelands, he discovered a rouge searching for food. He attacked the rouge, only to find out it was his own brother.

He begged him to come back to pride rock, but he refused. He'd been gone for to long. there was no point in him coming back. He left the pridelands, and wandered off into the deserts.
