Bio: Windhoek wasn't chosen for the lion guard like he wanted, but for something greater. He didn't understand as a cub, but his mother always told him he had a greater calling to help protect the pride lands. At a young age, Windeok was able to read the thoughts of others. Rafiki had chosen him as a small cub to become his apprentice for he knew other evils would want contact with his great gift. So Rafiki wanted it to be made sure of that it was used for good. 

Rafiki took him away from his mother and the the tribe to teach him. Rafiki was Windhoek's father, he taught him all about the circle of life, and the great rulers of the pride land. Rafiki would still let him play with the other Cubs but learned in time he would be doing the work of an apprentice.

Windhoek learned to help teach Simba of future dangers and began to help teach the Cubs with Rafiki about the circle of life. He dreamed that one day when Rafiki would pass that he would take his place and help keep the great Pride rock and Simbas pride. He became the great Lion that he was created for. 

RTLK: Winhoek is the apprentice for Rafiki, he then joins Simbas pride to help them.
