Personality: Unlike her best friend she is very calm and soothing. Although she can turn as cold as ice if you push her buttons the wrong way. She often is the only lion who can calm down Nyimak and together they make an impressionable team. She is very protective of those she considers friends and pridemates.

History: Not much is known about Zarah's homeland or where she came from. She was born in a pride and her mother and father loved each other very much and when they had Zarah they named her Zarah meaning Shining flower because she was their shining flower. Zarah's parents loved and cared for her yet still even though their daughter understood all the smothering because of what had happened to her older sister, She rebelled.

Her older sister who was born a year before her was killed in what her parents called a freak accident, when in all reality it wasnt a freak accident. The neighboring pride had killed her because she refused to mate with the king's son. So Zarah's parents were very protective. Zarah never litened to her father and continued to wonder off during one of these she met an amazing white lion named Hatari. Hatari was everything Zarah wanted and more.  So Zarah started to sneak around with him nd one day mated with him. Her father became suspicious of her activities and followed her one day and confronted Hatari. Zarah enraged that her father didnt listen to her tried to stop him but was held back by her mother. Her father then proceeded to chase Hatari off. 

Zarah was extremely upset with her father and wouldnt even look at him for month. Then she found out she was pregnant with a cub and aa while later she had a little girl she named Merlissa. She was Zarahs pride and joy.

One day Zarah went off exploring and it was a good thing she did because if she hadnt, she would have been killed by the neighboring pride just like her parents. And her daughter was missing. Zarah searched everywehre but could not find her daughter anywehre. It was like a piece of her had broken.
Zarah saw the destroyed homeland and fled. She traveled for a while on her own and during this found a young lioness who was hurt. Her name was Nyimak and she helped her get better. And the two both knowing what lost meant decided to travel together. As they did they became closer to each other. Zarah never trusted anyone more than she did Nyimak and during that time they met Ari and her pride. Zarah knew Nyimak didn't trust other rough lions or pride because of what had happened with her family so it took her a while to pursuade her. but in the end when Ari asked if they wanted to join they both said yes.

As Zarah settled into her life in a pride again she saw that Ny was interested in Malik the leader's mate and rolled her eyes. Soon another female lioness named Lesedi caught Zarah's eye. Zarah had given up on males since she had been attacked so female tended to be her stroong suit. She noticed that whenever Lesedi was around Ny was very harsh and rude to her. Zarah started having feelings for this lioness and soon her and Ny got into a huge fight.

Nyimak and Zarah never fought but this one was a doozy. Zarah actually left the pride monemtarily and ran off. It ws months befoe either would talk ot see each other. But one day Nyimak found out she was pregnant and it scared her. She needed her best friend and she sought out Zarah.  Nyimak told Zarah that she was pregnant and she needed her help. And how she felt about her. Zarah smiled and nodded. Nyimak also agreed to help Zarah find Merlissa.
