Zari was born and raised in the jungle with her parents. Her parents cared a lot about the plants and the protection of all the species, and they passed this knowledge down to Zari.

Zari loved being in the jungle. She loved the smell of all the flowers and the sounds of all the insects and birds. She knew she wanted to stay in the jungle forever.

However, one day, Zari accidently walked out of the jungle and got lost. She cried for her parents, but they never came as they couldn’t hear her.

Zari soon met another lion cub who was lost, but she hated him because he wouldn’t respect the plants and the creatures around him. He bullied her and other creatures to help him survive and didn’t give them thanks when they completed his requests.

In fact, Zari got so fed up that she ran away from him, knowing that sooner or later he was going to hurt her.

On her travels she met a Pride called the Utendaji Pride. In this Pride she found some new friends called Moto, Baridi and Manish. She loved playing with them and she also loved how all the other members cared for her.

The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical.
