Name: Zuwena (meaning 'good')

Distinguishing Features: orange-tan fur, eye patches, coloured paws and thighs, reddish-brown tail tuft, red eyes.

Personality: Zuwena is known for being very shy. She does like company, but also sometimes prefers to have her space. She loves her big brother and sister, but also slightly dislikes Kovu. She is very sensitive, but that doesn't mean that she's gullible.

History: Zuwena was the last born of Simba and Nala's three kids. Born three weeks after Kiara, Zuwena was the youngest, and the most bullied. Luckily, her siblings stepped in for her and soon taught her to stand up for herself. When Kopa sudenly went missing, Zuwena hoped and prayed that she would be okay. But, Simba and Nala came back with the news that he was dead. Poor Zuwena felt so alone, she shut herself away from the family for days. Soon, in their adulthood, Kiara and Kovu fell in love. Zuwena never trusted the dark lion. But eventually she saw that he loved Kiara and let him go. One day, Nala told them of her and Tojo's son, Nyasi. She apologized that she had a cub she never meant to have. Zuwena comforted her mother and calmed her down. Even Simba forgave Nala for that unexpected mating between two good friends. But one day, Zuwena ran into Nyasi himself while she was getting a drink from the far Northern border. He fought her and she pinned him down, thanking her lucky stars that she was well trained in combat and fighting skills. Even though Nyasi waited for her to kill him, she let him go. When he asked her why she did, she replied that she wasn't a murderer. She then told him to leave and never come back. She knew her father well enough to know how he would react to seeing his step-son. Just as she turned to leave, Nyasi attacked her again with even more ferocity than before. She was surprised, but managed to deflect the attack. He fought her with all his might and the battle lasted for what semed like forever. Very soon, both lions were dripping in blood and sweat. Zuwena wondered if she had the strength to hold off another attack. Right then, she heard her family arriving. She heaved a sigh of relief. But, Nyasi wasn't finished yet. He fought her again, and this time won. Zuwena told him that he proved his point and she would let him stay if he got off her. But, he replied that he wasn't going to stay, he was going to become king of the Pridelands, and the first step was making sure she didn't mess up his plans. With one final blow, Nyasi ended Zuwena's life. Soon, Simba, nala, Kopa and Kiara arrived and were shocked to see uwena's body lying unmoving. Finally, Kopa finished Nyasi off. Zuwena knew that his spirit wouldn't join the Great Kings. She appeared in Simba's dreams and got him to call the area where Nyasi died forbidden as his spirit still lingered there. She and Nyasi still fought for eons, and they're fight became known as the Fight of Light and Dark. In the legend, Zuwena represented the light and Nyasi represented the dark. No matter what Nyasi tried for generations together to rule the pridelands, Zuwena became the protecter of the pridelands and was usually the one to stop Nyasi from achieving his ambitions.
