First, I'd like to mention that it is now nomination time for the Animation Source Awards! The AS Awards are an official site award created by steet to get unknown but talented users that create excellent work for this site. Check out the forum topic or the website for more information!
Now, back to the regular news!
I'd like to start by mentioning some excellent Fan Art. Firstly, I'd like to congratulate bambamXD on her very cute artwork Simba being chosen as Selection Of The Week!
Next, I'd like to mention Furinn_247's exceptional drawing SIMBA. Furrin_247 is a very talented artist and I look forward to see more work from her!

And now for some The Lion King fun facts! I hope these interest you as much as they did for me;
- One of Timon's lines, "What do you want me to do, dress in drag and do the hula?", was improvised by his voice actor, Nathan Lane
- The Wildebeest Stampede scene took Disney's CG department around three years to animate
- The Lion King was Disney's 32nd animated feature
- The song 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' was originally a comical duet between Timon and Pumbaa but was scrapped in favour of the version that exists today
- The Lion King was the first Disney cartoon to be dubbed into Zulu for it's African release
