The server used for the site is currently having severe issues, explaining all the database breaking and the 'site unreachable' periods. So if you can't access the site sometimes, don't wonder why.
The reasons are still unknown for the moment (maybe a problem with the server hardware). In any case, I may� look for a new host for the site soon.
