I don't know why but I have this suspicion that Zira is not Vitani's mother. I'm not even sure if Scar is her father. Lets look at the facts:

Vitani is around the same age as Kovu and maybe a little bit older than Kiara. As a cub she displays some features from a pridelander cub (roundish face). She looks more outlander when she grows up. I believe that Scar might have mated with a pridelander. Otherwise I can't explain why she nearly looks like a scruffy pridelander.

She has blue eyes. No one except for Nala has blue eyes. Scar has green eyes and Zira has red eyes. Either one or both are not the biological parents of Vitani. She is also the only lioness to have a hair tuft in the film. She also is the only one with freckles on her muzzle.

So who are her parents? And if she is Scar's daughter and Zira's daughter why does she resemble neither of them? I'm confused, help?!

I said this before to a similar question but she is Scar and Zira's daughter as doubtful as you sounded. I don't know why she looks nothing like either but in Balto 2 wolf quest Aleu had blue eyes and both of her parents (Balto/Jenna) had brown eyes. I don't think Vtani's mother was Nala because Scar is old enough to be Nala's father and I don't think they'd put such a thing in a kid's movie.

Hhh I will tell the truth its Beauty spot & Tojo Vitani looks just like them she was born in the pridelands but when Zira was exiled Zira told beUTYSPOT TO LET HER TAKE ON Vitani and never tell her who her real mom and dad are. Sorry about CAPS and lowers.

I think she is zira's cub. Her dad his Scar. i think she might of been born with blue eyes but if that does not make any sense then just say her dad is Mheetu?

Maybe before Nala mated with Simba she mated with Scar and and she had Vitani.

well it is believed that Zera is her mother and muffussa was her dad--i dont like that theory-- also there is one that Zera mated with a loner, travler if you will, and there is also Cobalt' s theory-- presonally i think he's right

It's been thought that she was Nala's daughter, there's many theories for that, but that hasn't been confirmed. Personally I don't think she looks anything like Scar, and it might be that Zira mated with an ex-Pridelander lion.
