Lion Cubs

Myyy goodness, it's been what, five years since the last time I posted anything to TLKS? Man, can't have just that old crap that I drew when I was 11 sitting there...and of the few that I had posted, most weren't even Lion King, they were Warrior Cats. -shame- I've deleted them, though, just leaving the two that WERE TLK-related, even if they're really old/ugly.

The background, yes, is a screenshot, but the character drawings are 100% mine, which is why I'm posting here and not in images.

Anyways. It's been ages since I've drawn any of these folks. XD I think it came out pretty good, though, considering how long it's been since I've tried drawing cartoony lions and that I didn't use any references.

The two cubs in front are some ollllld characters of mine that I haven't drawn since 8th grade...nearly four years ago. They were never hugely important characters for me and I don't think they ever got posted anywhere until now, but I did have a brief streak of drawing and working with them for a while that year. Anyways, they're Kovu and Kiara's cubs; I don't remember what the girl's name was (no, it was not the Bayleen from the old crap posted here; :that: was an even older version who was only draw that once and then never used again), but the boy was Kopa after his uncle...which reminds me, TLK fans, should I change that? I have to come up with a new one for the girl anyways, so why not find a more original one for him as well? Hmm.

The third cub is actually what inspired me to recall these old characters; I adopted the design from ALonewolf009 (aka Claire Cooper). I call her Leena, meaning softness , as she's an innocent and soft-hearted fella. She's a good friend of our needs-a-name female there (I'm thinking I may call her either Zuri, which means beautiful , or Tameka, which means a twin since she and her brother are indeed twins...I'm not sure. I'm leaning sliiiightly towards Zuri because I like how it sounds a bit more, though; seems to fit the universe better) and I'm toying around a bit with the idea of her being a love interested for Mr. Kopa Junior there when they get older...I dunno yet, though.
