Kiara's Death
The original version was a comic I sketched out in my book, and I can't be bothered to scan it in now to show you what happens before this scene, so I'll tell you:
FROM THE COMIC:
Kiara lay on the ground, Evie lying beside her.
Kiara: Evie, my baby...
The sound of her voice trailed off as she breathed her last breath
Evie: Mother!
Kovu, Chaka and Kova were running as fast as they could, and Kovu, spotting his dead mate, couldn't believe what he was seeing. He and his cubs ran over to the lifeless body Evie was lying next to. He hung his head low.
Nala and Kopa, carrying newborn Bianca, were also racing to the scene
Nala: I hope I'm not to late!
Nala: No! My darling!
IN THIS PIC:
Evie crept over to her father as her two brothers approached their dead mother.
In the shadow, unseen by anyone, Sambi crept away, with blood-stained paws, and many wounds. He ended a life, but he had no choice. He looked over his shoulder as he saw his half-sister lying lifeless on the ground, as a tear ran down his cheek...
