Taka's scar

Taka sniffled up his tears as he dragged himself forward. To his father's angry demands, he was on his way back to Pride Rock after being taught a brutal lesson about his lack of discipline. The cub didn't want to anger him more. He felt a sharp sting in his left eye, feeling the pain increasing by the second, but he was able to ignore it. The only thing that was on his mind was his father. How could he do such a thing? He knew he wasn't his father's favorite, but he was so commited to Taka's punishment that he gave him this permanent scar. Taka felt ashamed, angry, but mostly upset.

Mufasa slowly walked beside his brother, escorting him back to the pride. After giving Taka his lesson, Ahadi was already on his way to Pride Rock, treading heavily in the rain as his anger boiled within. The future king could only feel sorry for his brother and allowed the rain to cover the silence between them as they slowly made their way back home.
