As a teenager, Rileigh had a disliking for Kovu. However Kovu liked Ave, her younger brother.

One day the two were beginning to play fight and Rileigh scooped up little Ave in her mouth. "He isn't a play toy." she growled lightly, wanting to keep her younger brother safe.
