Please Don't Leave Me

Erevu just found his father after a fight. His father's body now lay on the cold hard ground. Erevu slowly steps towards his father.

Dad? He asks, but his father didn't answer. Please, if this is a joke....it's not funny....Dad, wake up.... Erevu continues. Hot tears now stings in the cubs eyes and he slowly curls up next to his father, placing himself under his father's large paw. Please....wake up, Erevu asks one more time before streams of tears roll down his cheeks. He shuts his eyes and rests next to his father. Maybe when I wake up it will all be a bad dream, Erevu says to himself.
