I can't imagine them with anyone else. Maalik had Rena but that disn't turn out well and Ari had Kayode (not in the same sense) and he died. They're practically made for each other and it's only right that they wait to be reunited instead of (in Ari's case at least) moving on and finding someone new. Maalik was her true love and she never finds that kind of love with anyone else again after he dies and is probably why she is so determined to serve Abel justice.

You would totally be right with them waiting for each other because who else can compliment them better than each other? Sure, Maalik might've been with Rena at one point, but that didn't end well and he didn't love her that much anyways, and for Ari, besides Kayode, there hasn't been another male who has impacted her life so much. These two were destined for each other!

I couldn't resist with that particular quote because I do believe that Maalik would have been waiting for Ari the other side and when they finally reunite after all those years...well...that IS true love. Ari never loved anyone like she loved Maalik, he was her love and only him. They waited for each other.
