Don't you dare!

It was one of these lucky days when Enzi was asleep for hours, days like these Annan and his sisters could be a little happier, playing together. The lionesses had left to do the hunting and the three young sisters should watch them, however, Nigesa decided to stay and play with her younger brother, she hardly could spend time with him because of their father, now she would have some time to do it:

''Hey Annan, i'm done of playing tag for now, let's play hide and seek!'' Nigesa said excited as she stopped chasing her brother into a cave

''Um, okay, but you will seek then'' Annan went back to his sister

''Okay! I will count to 20 and you go hide'' Annan nodded and waited his sister start to count, but as she began Annan heard something approaching

''Nigesa!'' Enzi roared as he approached the cubs, he looked down to their scared faces, Annan was standind on his side

''What do you think you're doing your useless incompetent cub?!'' Enzi asked roughly as Nigesa shrinked against a wall

''I was just playing, father She answered scared

''You should be with the other lionesses, away from here, learning to hunt. Lionesses who don't know how to hunt are a pound of flesh to me, is that what you are?!'' Enzi growled, put his claws out and approached Nigesa, threatening her, the little cub shoke her head. Annan was ready to protect his sister

''Well then, maybe I should give you a lesson!'' Enzi raised his paw with his claws out, he would have beaten Nigesa if Annan didn't jumped in front of her

''Don't you dare to touch her!'' Annan said angrily, bristling the fur on his back

''Get out of my way you idiot! Your sister needs to learn''

''You won't touch her, not while I'm here, if you wanna beat someone then beat me, not her!''

''You are a male, you can live, your sister is just a useless female, I can make more of these'' Enzi backed off a little

''Let us go father, we promise this will never ever happen again, just let us go'' Annan said looking to his father with fury in his eyes

''Go! Go you filthy cubs, get out of my way. If this happens again, I'll kill both of you and give your corpses to the vultures'' Enzi let the cubs go, and they passed through him with their heads down, he stared at them before leaving

''You were very brave'' Nigesa said with her head and ears down as she walked by her's brother's side. Both were silent until they arrived their territory, they were thinking the same ''If their father don't die soon, they will die first''
