Yes, I'm one of those people that thinks Chumvi is Kovu's father. Maybe they actually had some interaction? Maybe Kovu would run away after training to see his father?

I guess he's just trying to smile to show his son it's okay or something. That's what I thought. Also my version of Chumvi has green eyes. :)

Hmm, I always thought Chumvi had red eyes...

Anyway, Chumvi being Kovu's father is a nice idea, and this image of yours really reflects the pain Kovu seems to be feeling in regards to his mother's training him. However, I kind of expected to see Chumvi feeling a sense of pain for his son. Then again, maybe that pain is in his eyes.
