Lion Tales and Cubbie Ails
While the lionesses are away, it's time for the cubs to play-with supervision, of course. As Habari, Kirita, and Malaizi became teenagers, the Pridelands became alive with a new generation, and after Kula passed away and Malaizi was left the only cubsitter, she needed all the help she can get. While the lionesses usually took turns staying with her, today its Mgumu's turn to watch after them.
Malaizi is never short of fun activities to do with the cubs, but one of her favorites is telling stories, both old and new. Some of them detail the great kings and queens of the Pridelands, while others are completely fantastical, talking of far away, mystical lands and impossible feats. All the cubs love her stories, even Eshe, who often finds herself hiding during the scarier stories of an old king named Scar and his army of hyenas.
All the cubs love her stories...except for Shirani and Kiyani. As the twins became preteens, the eldest of their generation, they grew tired of the same old childhood stories. They'd much rather explore the long grass and savannahs of the Pridelands than sit in a stuffy cave learning history lessons they've heard hundreds of times before. Without a word, the two have created a plan to have their own fun...

Just a quick image I've been wanting to upload. I just had inspiration and I ran with it, so I hope you guys like it! This will probably be my last post for a while now that I'm starting work and school, but I really wanted to post all the cubs in this generation together, especially with the most recent additions, Asha and Eshe ^^
