Midnight Strangers

I finally got around to creating an image of this gorgeous (yet to be) couple. They're an unlikely pairing but I love them nonetheless, I also think this image really portrays how the RP is going at the moment. Absko interrupted Karani's sleeping place and now their chatting awkwardly amongst themselves haha! I hope to be seeing a lot of these two for a while, I'm kind of in love with them.

This is a small segment of our RP below. The first bit of writing is Bae's followed by a --- which is followed by mine and then another divider before hers again.

Building up his courage, Absko just went for it; he gently placed his paw inside the burrow before putting in another. He reluctantly moved forward, entering the small hole with his large upper body. Ducking his head, he didnt want to hit it against the roof of the tunnel but it was hard to see how low it went because of the darkness. Then, he stopped right then and there. He felt a strong presence within this burrow and he was already halfway into it. Confused, he narrowed his eyes as an attempt to better his view, but it was no use. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness of the small burrow, he realized something was hiding in the back. He could make out its soft features but its soft green eyes stood out the most. The dark male just stood there, watching the green orbs until he realized it was a lioness! Pulling himself out of the cave, he was dumbfounded and confused as to why a lioness would be hiding in a burrow such as this one, however one thing was for sure - he was now rather calm and had lost all of the adrenaline rush that was going through his veins. He was reassured that the source of that sound was just a lioness who most likely had lost her way. Normally he would lose his mind and snap at his opponent, but this one was no threat and looked rather helpless.

Taking a deep breath to collect himself, he glanced back into the burrow. A frail thing like you isnt supposed to be out here all alone. Absko commented. His voice was gruff and gravelly, but still slick and clear. He had put in slight distance from the burrow so that the lioness could have no problem slipping out of it without feeling like he was going to attack.

---

Karani was convinced her heart had stopped beating as the lion entered the burrow. She pushed herself backward as far as she could and then stared with wide eyes at the intruder. He clearly hadnt seen her at first and had advanced to inches away from her face but with a sudden halt he looked her dead in the eyes. The electricity as their eyes locked was exhilarating and to her relief she could instantly feel her heart beating loudly in her chest. Within a few moments the male retreated and then distanced himself from the burrow, leaving her a great distance of space to escape if necessary.

Karani listened to his husky voice and surprisingly it was harmonious to her ears, luring her out of the den she now stood before him, blinking as a strange mixture of shock and fear etched itself onto her delicate face. She gulped and then looked around awkwardly; her stance was submissive so that the lion knew she was no threat although if she had been any closer to the Pridelands she wouldnt have bothered with such formalities. As far as she was concerned the border to the Outlands was only metres away from them, the soil beneath their feet was as good as his.

The lingering silence between them was becoming slightly deafening and Karani finally spoke up, she had intended to sound confident but her voice had come out weaker than she had expected.

Frail? Not likely. It was the bluntest thing that she could have said and instantly she began subconsciously scolding herself for her words. She couldnt have said something nice that would make him want to stay the night to protect her, no she had to go and say something rude enough to perhaps threaten the lion or push him away. In an attempt to lighten her choice of wording she offered the male a light but sincere smile before looking down at the ground in embarrassment.

---

A light smirk appeared on Abskos face after the words of the lioness entered his ears. He flicked his tail curiously as he eyed her thoroughly. Absko didnt have any bad intentions with this lioness and he wasnt planning on toying with her for the whole night. He did plan on finding a good area to sleep anyway and the more he stayed behind, the less sleep he would get. The dark rogue couldnt quite make out her appearance - only her piercing green eyes and her light, soft features but nothing more.

I really hope I gave you my feedback on this, but if not I'll just give it here. I still really love these two, even if I haven't been active in the RP. It's just cause my laptop is broken and I have no access to the file you sent me where the RP is. It should be fixed soon!

This image is lovely. Lioness, you make some of the best renders and images one this site! Did you make the background? I don't remember it being in the movies. And one last thing, would you like to do a trade?(Did I already ask you that question once?)
