the movie is aright, but it takes out some imprtant bits. for example:
1. they had a cat called buttercup. prim risks her life to rescue him in catching fire, however, they can not do this in the film now due to not mentioning it in the first film (unless they somehow pull it off)
2. in the book, she got the mockingjay pin from her friend, mags, who was the mayors daughter. However, in the film, an old lady gives it to her for free no sentimental value came from it really, so she would have no reason to take it into the arena.
3. when they announced that there could be 2 victors from the same districtin the book, katniss instantly blurted out 'peeta! which shows she cares for him. However, the movie does not, taking out a significant moment in the book.
4. the cornucopia is meant to be gold!!!! it's either i'm colour blind, or they got the cornocopia wrong.
5. In the book, katniss drugs peeta so she an go to the cornucopia and get him some medicine. This (as far as i can tell) doesn't happen. it was kinda hard to follow XD
6.when katniss is stung by trackerjackers in the film, she passes out and rue treated her while she slept. However, in the book she met rue, who gave her the herbs to use. dunno if it's that significant but it's worth mentioning

I could go on with differences, but that would take forever, plus they're not really that important differences....

i've read the hunger games and catching fire, and i've almost finished mockingjay I've also seen the film and am planning to watch catching fire which is apparently coming out in october!!!!!!!!!!

I agree this is how they would look. The Hunger Games is awsom. Have you read them all or saw the film?
