"Are you Afraid of Me?"
Takota left the shelter he and his mate shared just as the rain started to fall.
Sheria, realizing his absence, ventured out to look for him.
She found Takota on a large rock, thoughtfully looking out into the distance.
When he saw her watching, Takota sighed and turned to his mate.
"Sheria? Are you. . . .afraid of me? I mean . . . of my size? I'm a giant . . ."
Sheria blinked, and walked slowly up to him. "Why would I be afraid?"
