"Stupid Mountain Lion"

I still, all those years ago, remember when his wooden crate fell in the Pride Lands. Naturally i felt sorry for him when he was picked on for having no mane. But now i simply can't understand why i am still sitting here with him.
His stupid cocky smile covering his face as he looked down at me. He acted like he owned the world - wow that would be a nightmare.
As much as i hated this stupid breed of lion that sat before me, i felt compelled to endure painful hours of 'conversing' with him.
'You need an attitude adjustment,' He stated, smile growing bigger. I growled insults under my breath. 'Sorry? I didn't catch that,' he pressed.
'I said many things!' I hissed. Why couldn't he just shut up, for a minute!? He started to open his mouth again. Course not, he could keep it shut for a second. 'You never said why you don't like me so much.'
I never will. 'You wouldn't want to hear it. Wouldn't want to make you cry, as much as i'd like that, i'd rather the other males didn't come any closer.'
'I feel used!' He gasped, 'You're using me to keep the others away?'
'No.'
He rolled his eyes and smiled. 'Why do you sit here then?'
Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. I don't know why i sat here with him. I don't understand why i feel compelled to do anything anywhere with him. I just did.
I hissed at him and moved further away from him. His lips puckered and his whimpered, 'that hurt.' That stupid smile returned. 'But hey, i must be better than some of the female, since you tend to talk to me more than them.' Ha! No, they just hate you as much as i do.
