Bio: Rainbook was born in Trottingham. As a little filly she was bullied for being a blank flank. She spent most of her time reading Daring Do books. She was fascinated by stories and wanted to be just like A.K Yearling, the writer of Daring Do. She even wrote her own book. She sent her book to A.K Yearling and the famous author wrote back saying that she thought her book was great for a little filly's work. That day, Rainbook discovered her talent for writing and got her cutie mark.

As a teen, she was still teased for various reasons. On a field trip to Canterlot, Rainbook decided to stand up to a bully. Unfortunately, this led to a magic duel. As Rainbook took the first blow and heard everyone laughing at her, she became super mad and unleashed her anger in a spell that sent the bully flying clear over the Canterlot castle. Rainbook was confronted by Princess Celestia, who she thought would scold her for her actions. Instead, the Princess told Rainbook that she had a very special gift in magic and should train to improve it.

Princess Celestia sent Rainbook to Ponyville where she would train as an apprentice to Princess Twilight Sparkle, the most magical pony in Equestria. Twilight says that Rainbook reminds her of herself and that with some more practice, Rainbook could become as magical as her.
