Personality:

Dash is the quietest of the pups, shy and prone to timidity. Although exceptionally bright, easily rivalling Dodger with her cunning mind, as a small pup she struggled to be heard over her siblings, especially the confident Lily. As the other pups gradually moved onto new homes, Dash came out of her shell further, finding herself more at ease no longer having to compete so much. She has a gentle nature and a quirky and often sarcastic sense of humour. Dash is happiest surrounded by those she is closest to, prefering a few trusted friends to a large number of acquaintances. She avoids fighting where possible, but manages to keep out of trouble on the streets fairly well being quick in both mind and in the physical sense. Her quiet nature hides a fierce temper, which is only ever seen by those closest to her.

Background:

The second born daughter of Dodger and Rita, Dash was one of a litter of five. Very shy as a young pup, she stayed very close to Rita a great deal of the time and showing only brief glimpses of her sharp mind. By the time it was only the three last remaining pups to go to new homes, Dash had begun to blossom into a capable and quick-witted young dog, and she found herself a permanent fixture in the gang until finally leaving home at the age of two. She built herself a new family with her closest friend, a Rottweiler named Klaus, and her 'cousin' J.B. who had been raised by her aunt Willow. The three of them lived happily together on the streets, often joined by Bandit and his mate, while Dash still remained close to the gang, especially Rita. 

At the age of three, Dash encountered a young Labrador named Sunshine, who was living as a beloved pet. Sunny was intrigued by her and the world of adventure that she lived in, and Dash happily took him under her wing, sharing with him the joy of freedom. The pair fell in love, and after much soul searching, Sunny took the plunge and joined Dash on the streets, leaving his life as a pet behind him. With Sunny, Dash had a litter of three puppies; Daisy, Ella and Jack, and later a second litter, of which only little Phoebe survived the birth. With her friends, her mate and her four children around her, Dash developed into an influential and wise leader.
