Personality:

Nina is sweet and gentle, very human oriented and very affectionate. Something of a goody-four-paws, she took herself by surprise by her interest in the badboy next door, Nicky. Intrigued though she might be by his streetdog past, Nina prefers living a comfortable life with all that comes with living among well-off humans in the big city. Though she's not the type to enjoy roughing it, she can be tough and resourceful when the situation calls for it... but only when there is no option of returning to a comfy couch instead.

Background:

Nina failed as a show dog and found a new home with an elderly gentleman living next door to Dodger and Rita's youngest son, Nicky. Totally unlike any dog she'd met before, Nicky charmed his way into her heart and they quickly became lovers. Only several a couple of weeks after their first meeting, Nina fell pregnant with Nicky's litter- Dodger and Rita's first grandpups. Nina was terrifed that her new owner would reject her when he found out that she was expecting, but the old man remained devoted to her through the whole process, and adored the six pups. Nina made every effort to include Nicky in the raising of the puppies, and it brought them closer, cementing their mateship. Two of the litter, Feather and Cloud, were kept by Nina's master, and the family bond was very strong. Several years later, Nina's owner passed away of old age and entrusted the three dogs to Nicky's human family, who he knew had always loved them. It all but broke Nina's heart, but she took comfort in the constant support of her beloved mate, son and daughter.
