Personality: Though he may look like a pretty tough guy who's feelings aren't hurt easily, but Q.J. is the exact opposite. He's a giant sweety, though he tries his best to hide it, and is a giant cry baby. If he gets dumped, he cries, if he doesn't have his favorite food, he cries, if things donít go his way, Q.J. will complain and cry. When Rita and Dodger finally managed to put him out of Fagin's boat house...well, he cried. Other than that, Quincy has a firey attitude that needs some control and he has a trouble with girls, meaning he can't stay in a stable relationship. He also thinks that things will go great if they go the way he planned, and having a very bull-headed attitude doesn't help when others oppose his idea; this just causes him and whoever said something about his idea to have an argument. Q.J. has a bad attitude but he really does mean well and tries to change. He had told his parents that once, but because heís lied and argued so much in his life, they didnít believe him and kicked him out.

History: Quincy and his siblings were born in Fagin's boat house during the late summer. All three of them lived together with their parents and the other dogs of the gang, their 'uncles' Francis, Tito, and Einstein. Their real uncle and aunt, Rita's cousins, Romeo and Renée, visited the boat every now and then whenever they could since they prefered to stay on the streets. At seven months old, Q.J eavesdropped on his parents' conversation about giving him and his siblings to new homes out in the suburbs of New York City. Because he was so clingy to his parents, and especially to Rika and Huey, Q.J. practically turned himself in by crying out for them not to separate him from his siblings. Dodger and Rita soothed their crying son and promised the puppy that they wouldnít give them away.

As time went on, however, Q.J.'s attitude went sour and he began lying and cheating. He got in so much trouble that he often called on Lil' John, his close friend, and his older brother Huey for help in keeping his own hide. Of course, things didnít always go as planned and John got hurt trying to protect Quincy from a gang of rogue dogs that lived in the 'not-so-good-areas' of NYC. Huey, after finding out about Lilí John, refused to help his younger brother anymore and the two had a giant argument in the boat house. This led up to a physical fight and both pups were pulled apart by Dodger and Uncle Einstein. They were a bit bloody and scraped up. Now it was time to take things into his own paws; Dodger ordered his eldest son to get out right at that moment. Q.J. disputed, but in the end, Dodger's demand won, and his so took to the streets of New York.
