Hey Guys,

I have seen many characters on here with the same names. But theres only a couple, like, a couple pairs of them. Like only 2 characters with the name Bob (only and example) or, two characters with the name Lissa (another example) But theres not that many pairs of horses with the same names. But, I have seen alot lately, that many new characters have the same names as ONLY my horses. Like Kateri, Enepay, Aysha, Aphrodite. They all have the same names either spelt different or with the (DSKJBFGF) letters next to it. (<--- again, the DHDKBDFK was just an example) Arent people creative enough to come up with their own names? Or are they just lazy. I dont want to try to start anything here, its just that those couple pairs of horses with the same names has grown to numerous pairs and it's bugging me. And it's not just my horses either. I've seen other horses with the same names of horses that were on here firts with that same name. Does'nt it kinda bug you?  Because I think that if your creative enough to make Fanfics, and Images and stuff like that, should'nt you be creative enough to make up your own name? OR, look on one of those sites that have horse names! I got Altiar's name from my grammas dictinary! I had no idea what it meant but I thought to myself "Hey, that sounds like a cool name" So i used it. So, try looking for stuff like that.  Dont just copy. And I know I have characters with the same names as others, but I did'nt even know there were characters with those same names when I made them. Like Adonis, I changed his name to Cheveyo for a while, then changed it back to Adonis.

madster-ok,thats cool,s just that i think that if people are creative enough to come up with neat images than they should do the same with names, instead of copying someone elses. cowgirl-thats usually what i do, most of my characters come from images i drew in school or what not XD like sugar dot and stuff bopsie-i kinda do that i just do my best to find names that someone else hasnt used,then someone else comes along and says"hey,i like that name" blah blah blah, and the next thing you now theres two names,its actually kinda confusig with all the same names XD

I try to use names off of RPs I'm in on howrse.com, like Adrial, Shayra, Pyrus. But I've only seen one Courtney, so I just named her that.

I really try my best to use different names, but in some cases, I have to use the same name. For example, if I haven't been on the site for say, two weeks, and I thought of a character and a name to go with, when I come back on the site, I'll do a search of the name. Most likely, none of my names are taken, but if they are, I try to change. Only if I have had that name on mind for a LONG time I won't change it. But, eh, that's just what I do.

It doesnt bother me as I do the (insert user here) thing if any of my chars have the same name as another....it isn't a bad thing though.

Try using names from other countrys. Some of my horses have Japanese names

Sierra- I think I might have been around for that, it was, like when I first came on here right? And yeah, that does seem freaky, because you wont know it someone is talking about you or a character XD And I know that that's why they do it, it's just that alot lately I've seen my characters names around alot. Its just kind irritating. Like a gnat that wont go away XD

It doesn't bother me much, except when people start doing the same character over and over again like making different versions of Strider w/o changing his design and stuff. I don't know if you were around for that or not but that irritated the (censored) out of me. Also the number of Sierras is kind of freaky too simply because that's my username XD. Also, the reason why there are some characters with names like for example Phil and *Phil* and stuff is because the character creator won't accept a char with the exact same name as an already made character.
