Ok, so I have a project where you send in designs for a mare in my herd. I have tried to make an image of the foals in the herd. And because three of them haven't been made yet, I only sent a link to the one I have made? But when I tried uploading it, it said that I needed to send links to the other characters.

The thing is, I'm thinking of making images of my herd, but some of the horses won't have links? And I have a feeling that the images won't be uploaded if there aren't any links to some of the horses.

Do there have to be links to the horses? I mean, do the people who sent them have to make them a profile?

There was no confusion, Blackhorsebeth, the new rules state that every character in the image has to be featured so, Gallopgirl, it's now normal that your image was deactivated if some characters didn't have a page to be featured. I'm afraid unless the other persons make their characters a page, the image won't be activated :c I'm not that fond of this new rule too but, like the other ones, it has to be respected.

I had the same thing happen to me. It seems that one of the mods (whichever one it was that deactivated your image) is a bit confused as to linking characters in images when the characters in question don't yet have profiles. Try re-submitting your image. Another mod should see it and they'll be able to decide whether to activate it or not. If you want, you could also add a sentence into the image description, explaining that not all the characters in the image have profiles.

You don't have to make a profile unless you don't want to--it's just preferred
