This is Gums and my joint entry:
What if DreamWorks had made SSOTC with a different plot, with the roles of the Lakota Indians and the Cavalry swapped around?
For examples: The Lakota try to break Spirit first; a Cavalry recruit is Spirit's close human friend; Lakota braves chase Spirit and his Cavalry recruit friend through the canyon.
