The Night Before Goodbye

Its time for George and Fred to say good bye for now to you my friend so long for now until we meet again.
Information:
Fred was playing with Hybrid, as pure usual but one night as a 6 month old colt he realized he was starting to devlope strong feelings for Hybrid, but his time was nearing to leave the Cimarron herd. He wanted to plan something special, So that night he stayed up and seen something spectacular that Hybrid would love to see if only she didnt sleep so early, she could see them. So he Decided the night after he gets kicked out of the herd he would have a personal talk with the Lead stallion asking for one more goodbye to his best friend. The time came at 8 months old, Cedar took the boys out privately tomorrow was the day, Fred thought about Hybrid and his promise to himself, he asked Cedar, *Could I at least have this night to say goodbye to Hybrid?* he asked the old Stallion, Cedar who nodded but told him, *yes and George you should take this night to talk to Angelina about it as well, but If you two try anything with my daughters I will personally hunt you down and kill you.* Fred and George nodded Understandingly, and trotted off, Hybrid was awoken by a nudge, on her shoulder she seen Freds golden brown eyes staring at her and she was fluster but managed to speak, *Fred what are you doing?* she nickered quietly trying not to wake her mother and the others.
Fred nickered for her to follow him and she got up and followed him. He took her deep into the forest where they could talk loudly but yet not be heard. *Hybrid I want To show you something.* Hybrid was weirded out, *Show me what?* she asked suspiciously, He chuckled and then nodded his head in the direction behind her where the forest was swarmed with lightening bugs. She was amazed that she couldnt keep her eyes off of them, Fred nipped her mane and lightly pulled it then ran into the swarm of lightening bugs that began to swarm around them, He looked at her, *I'm leaving tomorrow.* He said, She looked at him in sadness, *what.. why?* she asked, which was a stupid question as she winced at it because she knew why she just didnt want to acknowledge that he was going to have to go away one of these days. *your father is kicking us of the herd to let us have our own life.* Fred said, *who's us?* She asked him, *George and I, George is with Angelina right now telling her whats going on as well.* He told her, tears formed in Hybrids eyes, *I don't want you to go though...* she told him. He sighed and hugged his best friend, *You'll see me every year hopefully, ill be with a bachelor band and who knows maybe picking you out of your dads herd.* he said jokingly even though he knew deep down he meant it. She nuzzled him into a hug and then he said, * It's gonna be alright but we got all night to spend here so .. wanna race?* she laughed and then nodded, * To the watering hole?* she challenged him with her voice breaking a bit as she still held it together. *Your challenge is accepted* he said then busted through the forest running as the swarming fireflies where everywhere, Hyrbid let out a laugh as a single tear ran down her cheek and she let him win.
