If you aren't using an ad blocker, you've surely noticed it by now : I am putting back ads on the site.
Wait! There's a good reason for this.
To put it simply, I am soon going to leave my current job, and I will be creating my own micro-company. (more on that later)
This means that I will have more time to dedicate to the site, so I'll be able to do much more than currently!
For example, I could add support for more languages, create a new and improved interface, correct all the remaining bugs etc... All the things I wanted to do but never could, because of time constraints.
The counterpart of this : I'll have to make a living. So I have to monetize the share of my time spent working on the site.
Currently I'm doing some testing on what can work and what cannot. I'll need to find a happy medium between too intrusive or inappropriate ads, and ads too hidden that don't generate anything.
I can't say I'm happy with the current (only) affiliate that has accepted the site so far (sorry for the inconvenience), but I'll keep on trying to find the best solution for the site.

a cut for all purchases in a session, or only one sale? I get stuff

It seems Infolink just approved the site! Great news, I like this one
much better because it's one of the less intrusive programs (they only
display ads links inside the text, that you have to hover to display) |

I'm trying something different. Totally forgot about the Amazon
associates program. I have integrated some banners in the "rolling
headlines", to buy some films. This is much nicer and appropriate,
although I don't expect to make much money from it (you need to buy a
product using this link so I can get 5%). |

want to make crapware install themselves on the visitors computers. |

TitanicFanatic => I've noticed some of these ads are crapware. They
don't install themselves but they download an installer. I have no
control over what kind of ads is displayed. I think I'll give up on
this affiliate and will wait until hopefully another one accepts the
site. |
