A TaleSpin episode recording with the cast

You know, I still haven't posted every piece of official stuff I own. For example, here is an interesting paper for a recording session of an episode, which lists the actors and the time of record :

I've always thought that all the main characters had to be there at the same time at the moment of the recording, but it seems not! For "Grual & Unusual Punishment", R.J. Williams (Kit) and Sally Struthers (Rebecca) both did their recording at a different time than the others! Fortunately, this wasn't noticeable at all in the final episode.

I find this interesting, anyway :)

Well I can only share what I have. If I had stuff from other episodes, be sure I'd share them

Good thinking about Danny Mann being the original voice for Spigot, that's quite possible!!! And quite an interesting discovery

Maybe Jymn could confirm this, if he remembers anything of course. Or Danny Mann himself, if we could contact him.

I agree with Gregory Weagel. I need also documents from other eps than Gruel and Unusual Punishment, especially from eps where Air Pirates are in.

Another interesting find. However; I would like to see more finds like these on other episodes other than this one. Gruel is a good episode and all; but I would love to see the alpha scripts for Stormy Weather, Her Chance To Dream, Plunder and Lightning among others since I consider them to be more historic from a DTVA point of view.

Oraki => There was no air pirates in this episode, that's why he's not listed.

Ann29 => You're right!!! I didn't notice that! That's probably a mistake, according to this :

He did a number of secondary characters so this is probably the reason why he was listed. It's surprising they'd do such a mistake on an official listing though!

What's up with Danny Mann being listed for Spigot? I thought Spigot was voiced by Michael Gough.

It's pretty common within animation for actors to record their voices separately. In fact, it's more of an exception when they DO record together; usually that's only when they know each other very well in real life already, and are able to play off each other in a way they couldn't otherwise. (An example would be the Toy Story series. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen recorded their lines separately for the first two films, but together for the third.)

Regardless, it's pretty cool to see a call sheet from the TaleSpin series. How did you manage to come across it?
