As you may or may not know, the rest of the Gargoyles DVD may be released next year. Recently, some Gargoyles fans received news from Disney that they had "tentative plans to release the rest of the series in 2012".

So I took my chance and sent an email to Disney myself, asking about TaleSpin, and here is the answer I was given :

Thank you for your e-mail. We appreciate your interest and are happy to answer your questions.

There are tentative plans to release the rest of this series in 2012. No further details are available at this time.

Which is exactly the same answer that was given to Gargoyles fans!

As I was unsure if they were really talking about TaleSpin (maybe this is an automatic answer to keywords in the text, and I did mention Gargoyles in it), I asked for confirmation and here's the new answer I was given :

This title has not been released on Blu-ray or DVD. Although we do not have a tentative release date set, we would be happy to share with the rest of our team that you would like to have this available for purchase! Your feedback helps us build a better experience for all of our guests and is truly appreciated!

Please notice that I never talked about a "volume 3" so it seems they're aware of the current releases, but this time they don't seem to refer to a possible release next year. I'm not ruling out the possibility of an automatic answer reacting to keywords (big companies do that a lot, including Disney).

But at the same time, if Disney really has plans for Gargoyles, it doesn't seem far fetched that we could the rest of the other Disney Afternoon shows too, including TaleSpin.

Disney may also be gauging interest into these series by saying they have "tentative plans", so that means it would be great if a lot of you would contact disneyinfo@disneyhelp.com to show them there are lots of TS fans interested! (if you do, please tell us the answer they give you!)

It's possible that this release may happen through Disney's still recent DVD-on demand service, "Disney Generations".
