What is webranking?

Search engines rank the sites, according to the site content of course, but also according to the number of pages that links to the site.
To get a good rank, a site must be linked from a very large number of other sites (at least, this is how most of the search engines work, and the primary criterion of Google - thats why it's so important)
These links are called "backlinks". The more backlinks a site has, the best it is ranked! (and of course, the primary goal of a link is also to bring visitors)

And needless to say : the best a site is ranked, the most visitors there are, the more activity there is, the more fun it becomes!

What can webrankers do?

Several things :

- look for potential sites on the web, and ask for link exchanges,.

- add links into directories,

- contact members submitting artworks on Deviantart, Youtube, etc,

- posting comments on forums, blogs, social websites like Facebook...

Why am I posting this?

Because I need some people to help me doing this! With more and more sites, this is a job I can't do on my own.

I especially need webrankers on the newest sites. For this reason, I'm willing to give a webranking postition on Talespin Source, Animation Source and The Princess & The Frog Source to anyone who asks. (for the other sites, considering there will be more requests, the number of positions are limited, so you'll have to join this contest first)

You have to keep in mind that webrankers are not exactly moderators, though (even if for now, the same people are doing both)
