Ann29I'm a big fan of your work, Mr. Magon, especially TaleSpin and  A Goofy Movie.  It must be awesome to see something that you've written come to life on the big screen.

Anyway, my question is this:  Was the scene where Goofy and Max drifted down the river on top of their car inspired by Baloo and Kit rafting the Sea Duck down the river in "The Old Man and the Sea Duck"?

Problem with animation is, it takes so long from written word to finished animation that months (even years) have passed - so you often forget that you wrote something, and it takes you by surprise when you see the final episode. (Plus, everyone along the animation process adds and changes things.)

I can honestly say there was no conscious attempt to mimic Kit & Baloo drifting down a river... cuz I doubt I even remembered that scene when it came time to write A Goofy Movie.
