Soundtrack
The show has very nice orchestral musics; some of the themes are among the best ones ever heard on an animated TV series.
But that soundtrack has never been officially released.
Well, that's not ENTIRELY true, because a CD has been distributed very discretly (TaleSpin HQ says that there were less than 50 units produced...), probably not by Disney themselves.
Fortunately for us TaleSpin lovers, a fan bought one of these from Ebay some years ago, ripped the CD and made them available for everyone - since then, the tracks have been spread on the web. I would like to say a HUGE THANKS to Spatsbear, you don't even know how MUCH this means to a lot of us!!
I do not host the files myself; however, some other TaleSpin sites do. For example, you'll be able to find the TaleSpin soundtrack here. (as well as some other rare stuff!)
Songs
TaleSpin isn't really a musical series, but some songs can be heard in the pilot - as well as "unused" songs on the Disney Afternoon CD.

In fact Bullethead, it's a beautiful song and that's the reason why it
captivates you. But in my case, my favorite songs are I'm Gone and Sky
Pirates. In the case of Sky Pirates, after watching Plunder and
Lightning part 3, I really liked the song, I watch the video on
youtube, thousands of times (just kidding, but I really watched it a
lot). I had the song stuck in my head for almost a month. And I'm gone, it cheers up a lot especially when I'm down. |

Most of these songs are on itunes now. Disney afternoon songbook, I
think is what album they can be found under. Still have no clue where
to find Sky pirates on there, but I might take another look some time. |

Werewolf Pirate => Cool! Well technically TaleSpin is only one big
season of 65 episodes, so I guess you mean "DVD volume 1" instead of
"season 1". Did you buy it at Cosco? Somewhere else? The second volume
is always available for purchase on Amazon.com (link in the left menu) |
