Becky - RCA Cunningham

This drawing is inspired by the origin of Rebecca's name.

Rebecca's name is a radio-age reference, like many of the people and place names in TS. Back in the 1920s, the largest manufacturer of radios was RCA (Radio Corporation of America), and the largest manufacturer of radio tubes was a company named Cunningham Radio Tubes. In 1930, RCA bought out the Cunningham company. The result was that, from 1930 to 1936, the radio tubes produced by this company were called RCA Cunningham models. Get it?
