Set me free, even in my dreams...

Being back to the artists' activity, I must show ya, my friends, that I'm not dead... This is the one of my few chances to upload my art, when I feel better than usually.
This pic contains a large amount of my emotions, mainly missing the freedom...
The background story is that Mad Dog, one of Air Pirates, suffers a lot from being treated like a slave by all remained members, especially by his boss, captain Don Karnage. Suddenly, during his pirateish routine, he heard squeaking of one creature. He came closer and he saw hurt eagle. He took care of this majestic bird, feeded him, tried to manage it to fly again. Finally, when the eagle was healthy and ready to leave Iron Vulture, he set it free, feeling alone, miserable and missing his freedom, which was taken out of him a long time ago...
The technical aspect: This pic took me a lot of time to do, including my depressions periods and studies in university. I'm all proud of this pic, 'cause it looks much better than I usually did earlier.
The Seneca's quote, shown here, matches perfectly to the idea of my art and my personal philosophy.

Mad Dog belongs to Disney.
The concept and art belongs to me.

No problem.

He is quite a smart guy by pirate standards, again from being around gangs (not part or involded just a student with some) that the simple and crude order they run by has an effect like that on people like Maddog, that and he probably didn't have much of a childhood and saw these guys as "family", it's very depressing.

Beautyful, this captures a rare side of him. Of the Pirates I'd say he's one who's in it not entirly out of choice and from my experence with gangs they rubbed off on him.
