"I Don't Trust Him, Vervain"




Bryony remembers a time when Campion and he were out patrolling and they caught the smell of the Watership Down rabbits.



"It's too wet to follow the scent," said Campion." No point. Come on, let's shelter over here."

"We can still follo-" Bryony started and broke off as Campion hopped away.

With squinted eyes Bryony followed him. Why was he so hasty to get away?



"I don't trust him, Vervain," Bryony said, after telling the story to his friend when he got back."I don't trust him at all."

This is so cool - I like seeing these little scenes about how our fan chars. were involved in the main storyline!
