This soundtrack is scored by Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino, whose previous works include scoring on the soundtracks of the animated and live-action films Up, Inside Out, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.  It also features one new and original pop song, written by singer-songwriter Sia and songwriting duo Stargate, and performed by pop star Shakira, who also plays the character Gazelle in the movie.
