OK, fair enough. I should have kept my mouth shut, and I apologize.

Whether I use beer, root beer, soda, or something else is my choice. Besides the point, ELK gave me permission and the idea to make Koko like beer when we discussed it. I don't see how you can expect 'better' unless you haven't been reading my fics up til now when beer was in every other one where possible. So pardon me for not living to your expectations, and if that's not what you mean you should have worded it better. If you think you can expect better than my best, all because of a reference to beer, then I don't see why you read. My choice, not yours, and I'm not going to change it to suit you. There was no need for you to make that comment, none whatsoever.

Ansem --> From you, I thought I could expect better.

ELK --> I have been to a few New Year's Eve parties, and we did just fine with no beer.

Dt- Is new year! Taking the booze away from new year is like taking the spaghetti away from the meatballs. It can't be done!

You have to remember though DT, Zak's a boozehound. So... You kinda should have expected that.

I have to say, the drinking references kind of spoiled it for me. Root beer and a good sugar high (since Koko has presumably never had soda before) would have been better, I think.

You really captured Koko's personality well, brilliantly, in fact! And even though you included a lot of characters with contrasting personalities, they all seemed to rise to the occasion and fit in for once :D And the little surprise at the end made the story really perfect :3 Really cheerful, really up-beat.. and just fun < 3 Great work! And thanks for adding Koko to your saga!
