I have noticed for a while now that in Balto 1 all the characters are invincible, especially Balto and Steele. As in the big fight between Balto and Steele, Balto makes Steele fall off that massive cliff, but then you see Steele hit some rocks on the way down soon after he comes into Nome, and everyone sees him without a single scratch. Is he indestructable?

When Balto and the medicine fall down that cliff and Balto sees his mother, he doesn't have a broken bone or anything, and the medicine is still in one piece. How can that be? Have you noticed this?

p.s I have just seen a board about Balto 4 the heritage of the wolf, is it true that it is being made and is coming out at the end of this year?

I'm glad somebody else noticed that too. Every time I watch the movie I wonder how the medicine is still in one piece at the end, the box states that it's "fragile" but it clearly isn't considering it survived falling off a cliff.

I can actually sorta believe some of it, mostly because it is (like others said) a G-Rated movie, and it would hurt the story line to actually either hurt/kill Balto. HOW EVER I do see where you are coming from about the whole medicine deal. You see one jar of it fall from the box like a few inches and comes down on the ice and it breaks, yet it falls like 60 feet or something and still all are in contact. Way to go Universal.

Oh my gosh, I never noticed that before! That's pretty funny, actually. And really, guys, seriously, must you be so critical? "OH, IT'S A KIDS MOVIE! NO ONE CAN GET HURT!" Seriously. Maybe no blood or broken bones, but the characters certainly do get hurt. Did you notice, Steele seemed to be in a lot of pain when he tried to get up. He obviously recovered, but he WAS suffering for a little while. And Disney movies are a little harsh, in The Lion King and The Lion King 2, Zera (sp?), Nuca (sp?), Scar, a whole bunch of dogs, AND Mufasa all died, just to name a few. (They also showed animal bones)

Steele probably was injured after he fell off teh cliff, but it would've just been bruises, not scratches. that wasnt balto's mother, that was a lone MALE wolf. and balto landed in the soft snow, thats probably why it wasnt such a bad fall as for teh frozen steele, you'd be surprised how these kids of dogs can handel cold weather lke that. idk how they do it, but they just do. it probably wouldn't have effected steele so much

About Balto being invicible it wouldn't look good in a childrens animated movie in balto lost a leg or was all bloody. If this was an old school anime it would look alot bloodier. About balto 4 heritage of the wolf I heard about it along time ago just after Balto 3 came out. What I don't get if it was just a rumor why have I seen it on sites that i know sensor stuff and check thoroughly. I don't know if the name is right but I can't help thinking there is to much hype about it if it isn't real. i know rumors spread fast but to many in detail rumors just have to have some truth.

I guess it would upset younger children to see Balto covered in blood. But I do agree with the Steele bit, he fell down a huge cliff, crashed into the side loads of times and the second he hits the ground he's up on his feet! And then he has climbed up the cliff in the time it took Balto to put his harness on!!! Oh well. And I wish a fourth Balto film was coming, but that letter explained that there isn't going to be one. (Heritage of the wolf is the title of the song played during Balto's first howl)
