Balto was released in Japan on August 10, 1996. I'm a Japanese Balto fan that collects western animation merchandise. Especially, I has special love in Balto for long time. I have collected many Balto merchandise. Balto isn't so known in Japan. Therefore, I don't know the Japanese who is collecting Balto merchandise excluding me. But, various commodities were made also in Japan, 1996.
This is my Balto collection.
First, the right big english poster and plush and standee aren't made in Japan. It's imported from the US.
Balto key chain (Japan original figure)

It's not the famous KFC model or a Hardee Model. The keychain was made by Tukuda Hoby. This was not sold in 1996, and put away in the warehouse. The condition and design are very good and I have few brand new unopened.
2 style chirashi (pamphlet)

They are dubbed version and subed version.
limited edition video cassette

It's including Original Character Sticker. An unopened and few opened. I have four.
Japanese Poster
Not copy, the actually used in movie theater or video sotre.
Sound track CD
Movie brochure

Press seat
I don't know how I should say it in English. Maybe it's press kit?
Special preferential treatment discount ticket
It's not worthy of the name. It's a just discount ticket in the kids movie in Japan often distributed.
Story book
The story is the same as English version.
Still Photo

It was distributed for the news organization. I have ten pieces.
Balto 2 and The Land Before Time VIII announce poster
But I don't like Balto 2.
DVD
Balto phone card (not used)

Prize of Japanese comic magazine in 1996. so it exists in the world only by 100 pieces. You can 500Yen ($5) worth of a telephone call with this card.
