The back leg markings have changed!

There is no pics to prove this,but we all know Steele picked on Balto about being part WOLF.Well,Maybe when he was younger,he had a bad experience with wolves,and hated them?Then,once he found balto was PART wolf and part husky,steele thoughje couldn't let Balto get the medicine through,BECAUSE he diddn't want to be upstanged by a wolf?What do you think?

Another thing is,Dogs are color blind,so HOW could Balto and Jenna see the norther lights?Really!I know they probably just did it because little Kids think dogs cn see in color,but realy.Why put it at all?

Next,Balto and Jenna's pups have THREE toes

And I can't find any pics,but I rented balto 2 and just when Nava doges Niju,and he falls to te ground,the wolves walk over to him.And the last on on the top's outline is PURPLE!I'M SEROIUS!You can rent the movie to see proof!

another thing is there is a Problum saying Aniu IS the white wolf or not,welll...SHE IS!Niju simply says'Aniu,The white wolf told me the caribu will not return this year.'Well,There ya' go.

timber wolf:my dad is color blind and he cant see red or green XD (im not saying animals and humans see the same but still my dads color blind and cant see red or green so they CAN be color bling for all we know)

Well, about the Auruora Borealis ( Northern Lights), well, even if dogs are color blind, chances are a good percentage of the viewers aren't. The whole scene is probably just for the pleasure of the viewers.

Indeed, South Paw is right. Dogs are NOT color blind. They just see
slightly different colors than we do. However, they can see colors
fine. It's a myth that dogs only see in black and white. And he is
right about color specific training as well. How else do you think
dogs know what objects they need to retrieve for disabled people? If
they saw only black and white, everything would look the same
(especially since they can only see well up to about 15 feet in front
of them anyway.) As a college Pre-veterinary student, you can take my
word for it. ^.^

that thing about aniu, nava said the white wolf, but there are a lot
of white wolves in existance. he reffered to her as the because she
was an important spirit in the movie, but he might have meant a white
wolf.

dogs can see color. just not all.

Aniu is A white wolf.
but that doesn't prove that there is only one white wolf around. ( I
know what the animators have said. I just want you to know that your
logic isn't clear. )

Whatever about dogs being colorblind, why should we care? Nice
comparisons with the pictures though. And, the 3-toed pups thingie was
a good catch, and I think I know why, the animators might not have had
enough room on the paws to make 4 toes.

actually dogs aren't colorblind... it's been proven that dogs see
things just a little darker that us. for this, if we see something
white, the dogs might see it gray.

Wolf paws they can see in color, its just selective. I once read in a
book that if you throw a red ball on a green lawn, the dog will not be
able to see it very easily. Though a blue ball they're able to see
easily.

Don't worry about messing up on the title; it happens to everyone!

Kodi's markings could have possible changed as he grew; this
happens to many animals, dogs included. For instance (I'm not sure how
great an example this is) if you look at a mountain lion, there are no
spots on its coat, but if you look at a cub, they have spots until
they mature. So it could just be that it changed as he grew older.

I never noticed that about the pups' toes; it could have
just been the lazy animators...

As to your thoughts about
Steele's hatred of wolves, that is a possibility!

Dogs
are colorblind, yes, but I can see why they let this in the movie.
Actually, dogs aren't completely colorblind; they can only see certain
pigments of color. (At least I'm pretty sure; I haven't researched it
in a while.) So I can level with the makers of Balto on this subject.
Sure, dogs can't see in total color, but hey, they can't talk either,
right? And acknowledging SouthPaw's comment, when a dog chases a
laser, it may just be interested in the movement.

Dogs arent color blind, because well dogs can see things like lazers
and stuff, and if they were colorblind things like that would just
blend in plus they can learn things by color, dogs are trained
sometimes like that for special jobs, and markings can change when a
pup gets older. I had a pup one that had a a whole white ring around
his neck, but when he got older it turned to his grey fur color
leaving behind a half ring. This was a good article with a lot of
opinions and ideas good job! Keep it up
