In a rough draft for Balto 3, the part where Kodi comes and saved Balto, Kodi was supposed to be Steele. On the way back, there was an avalanche and Steele died. So... that is what happened in the rough draft.

i think he ran away to a nother contry like alaska because he hated balto so so much that he whanted never in his life see him i will be completly honest and my fav charecters are

Even though I'd hated Steele when I first saw Balto in theaters (and I still dislike him now...) I think it seems strange that he'd disappeared so completely (he doesn't even get a cameo shot in either of the two current sequels, for pity's sake!).

It would be nice if they brought him back in another movie (if nothing else, for continuity and nothing more), even if he has to be a 'background character'.....

it would get pretty boring if the antagonist was the same character
in every movie. they changed things around to make the movies more
interesting.
